The location is dreamy with a beautiful view and appealing architecture. However, the advertised Wi‑Fi never worked in the room, and on the balcony it was almost non‑existent. There’s no TV, so evenings can feel dull. There’s no place to sit indoors; breakfast is always taken outside, even in October when it’s very cool in the mornings, and I had to sit under an arch during a rain shower. The metal chairs and small bistro tables are not very comfortable. The breakfast is Spartan, just like the room décor: jam in small portions, the same two varieties each time, eggs, yogurt, juice, muesli, fruit. When I asked if there was cheese or sausage, I was told I’d have to buy it myself. Everything is brought to the table, but you can’t choose portions. It’s a shame that the great location doesn’t help. The owners are helpful with problems, but otherwise not very communicative and only present for breakfast. They give you a phone number to call and live below in a building.
