Located in Kraków's historic Kazimierz district, Hotel Regent is a 3-star gem within a 10-minute walk of Wawel Royal Castle. Spacious rooms feature Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and en-suite bathrooms with showers and hairdryers. Some rooms offer work desks and tea/coffee facilities. A daily buffet breakfast is served, and 24-hour front desk staff provide tourist information and arrange bicycle rentals.

The location in the Jewish quarter is very lively during the day and at night with many public venues, but the room was quiet and we slept well. The proximity to the historic centre and the castle is only a few hundred metres—max 10–15 minutes on foot depending on your pace. The sweet and savoury breakfast offered a variety of options each morning. The building feels a bit dated, unfortunately with carpet (at least in our room) that shows the passage of time.

Breakfast was well organised with a buffet setup. The food was diverse and tasted decent, and most of the options offered were pretty good. It would be nice to have a small fridge in the room, but that’s a “nice to have” since the price matches what’s available. Otherwise, it was a great experience.
