The refurbished bar and restaurant serve home-cooked meals, while the Fork and Spoon Restaurant serves modern cuisine with seasonal, local produce. Free parking is available, near Humberside International Airport and motorway access.

The location was ideal, and the hotel offered parking for a quick stop while traveling and visiting friends. The large family room had comfortable beds, and the restaurant served good dinner and breakfast with a lovely outdoor seating area. The staff were friendly and attentive. The bedroom and bathroom felt a little dated; the shower wasn’t great and there was mould in the sealant. The bedroom door couldn’t be locked from the inside, so we had to ask staff to look at it. Breakfast service and food could be better, with delays in taking our order and in the food arriving.

The location was convenient for my destination, but there were no other facilities within walking distance, and the restaurant offered decent standard food. However, the landing had creaky floors and poor sound insulation, and one light fitting was damaged.

The place is in a good spot, but the noise from downstairs and other rooms was a problem.
