“1ere expérience parfaite dans un ryokan”
Everything was perfect at this ryokan: the welcome, the room, the onsen, and especially the meals. Dinner and breakfast were incredible! No complaints.
The location was fine. The old building is austere. No one explained the ryokan’s operation in English. The staff were not welcoming. The onsen was too hot. The establishment allowed smoking (not in the rooms, luckily). Overall it lacked modernity.
The food was good and the hot spring was really great. No complaints.
The location was good. I would have liked a bit more explanation on how an Onsen works and some flexibility with meals; everything felt a bit mechanical.
