The hotel’s proximity to the Everglades and the friendly front‑desk lady were positives, but the room was very dirty with hair tufts on the shower walls, hair in the sheets, a grimy floor, squeaky beds, condensation everywhere, a small key lock that didn’t feel secure, and a dim, gloomy atmosphere; the laundry equipment was old, the place felt bleak, and after showing the photo of hair in the shower, no one offered to send someone or provide any compensation.
