Sunday lunch and breakfast were both excellent, offering plenty of choices and well presented, with staff who were very friendly and attentive. The room had everything we needed, was very clean, and the bed was comfy, though it was a little small, which didn’t ruin our stay.

The village location was lovely and within a short walk of Bardon Mill station, but the room was very small and quite warm.

“Perfect historic Inn and stay!”

We had 2 lovely rooms in a historic B&B. Beds were comfy and rooms were large with nice and convenient outlets. Not a lot of stairs. Breakfast was great. Our hostess was kind and helpful. Dinner was good too. Convenient to Hadrian’s Wall and museums. Wonderful experience. Easy parking. Side entrance for hotel guests so we could avoid dragging our belongings through the dining area. Perfect price point for us. A sweet memory will always be that as we walked in the door a gentle, elderly, local patron was leaving and my daughter offered her a hand and we patiently waited as she exited. She fell in love with my husband and his beautiful white beard. (Think Santa) She was so sweet and so much fun. We stood chatting a moment. It was a highlight moment for us. Everything was great
