The converted firehouse feels like a museum with plenty of photos of its past use, which is really cool. The only downside is the restaurant is closed on Sunday mornings, so breakfast would have been nice, but there are plenty of nearby spots, so it’s not a big deal.

The old fire station rooms where the staff stayed on duty nights are great; I think I’ve stayed in all of them, and there are only a few, but each stay is always excellent.

The staff were wonderful and the food was great, and I had no complaints at all.

The location, the history, and the size of the suite were all incredible, but an annoying alarm buzzed every few minutes all night, and I’m not sure if it was a fire detector or something else.
