The property sits in a quiet spot, about a 10‑minute walk from the train station. The hotel let me check in early at 1 PM because my flight landed in Munich at noon. The rooms were reasonably spacious, and breakfast was decent.

The location is good for transit and restaurants. We booked a single room, but were told the reservation was for one person, not one single room. We understood that, as most hotel reservations are for one room for two people. At check‑in the attendant said we’d have to pay for an extra person to get our room. We agreed, but then were hit with an extra $60.00 Euro per night for the exact same single room we’d booked. We had a three‑night stay, so that extra charge raised our lodging cost by 33 % more than the original booking. We were told it was because of demand during Oktoberfest week. All in all, we felt we paid for a two‑person stay but received a one‑person room with a very small bed. The manager said the price hike was because we’d use more water!!?? We’re very disappointed and feel taken advantage of.

The room was spacious, clean, and functional, and the free parking right next to the hotel was convenient. The Greek restaurant Poseidon, located directly across, was a solid choice for dinner and closed at 23.00. The hotel’s location made it easy to visit the Dachau concentration camp.

We enjoyed our stay at the property; it was about a 30‑minute train ride from Munich central, but we picked it because it was affordable during Oktoberfest. The train and bus stations were a 5‑10 minute walk away, and the breakfast buffet is a must‑try.
