The rooms were beautiful, clean, and the toiletries and towels were always fresh, making the area lovely. The beds were terrible—8 people in 5 rooms all complained that the mattresses were unbearably hard and the pillows were bad. The floor was actually more comfortable than the beds.

The room was very pretty with comfortable beds. It was small but well laid out, giving space for two people and two suitcases. The breakfast was excellent!

The place is in a great spot, just a short walk to Omicho market and Kenroku-en garden, and the staff were friendly. However, there were no facilities like water or coffee, and the cleanliness could have been improved.
