Quiet. There were no beer bars, only good food places.

The gym was in very good working order. Breakfast was very good. The restaurant staff were excellent. The pool was described as a swimming pool… it isn’t; it’s a cold paddling pool. The tuk‑tuk drove over the speed bumps too fast, and I hurt my back twice…

My initial impression of the hotel was not great due to the poor service at the reception and the discrepancy between the Google map location and the actual location, which was about 7 kilometers off. However, the spacious rooms were a redeeming feature of my stay.
