A private patio extends from the Small Double or Twin Room. The room contains two single beds and accommodates two guests. A private bathroom with a shower is provided. Entertainment includes a flat‑screen TV with satellite channels.
“Alt svarte mer enn til forventningene våre!”
Great stay for the one night we had, could have stayed longer. The evening dinner was superb. It was nice to be called about ordering dinner later, 100 % good hotel. Only the weather and the fact we should have stayed another night were off.

The location is superb, close to the fiord with sea view and a small park on to the water. Spacious modernised room, nice bathroom. The interior of the room was practical adequate, but nothing outstanding as if nobody tried to put an extra touch to this hotel. The staff was friendly and the dinner and breakfast excellent. The spacious dining room was built in by a large conservatory blocking the sea view. This blocked all the social rooms from contact with the fiord and spoilt the afvantage of a superb location. As for the interior design; the building itself is basically nice modern nordic simple architecture. Why in all the world does the management want the diningroom look like a kitschy french chatau or boudoir? So tacky and tastless. Give us the clean and fresh interior design with a nirdic flair!

The location is cozy, the staff are friendly, the place is well‑spaced, and the gluten‑free selection is great.
They let me check in a couple of hours early, which I really appreciated. The room was spacious, tidy, and had a lovely view. On day one the staff saw me sipping coffee in my room and kindly left me several different coffee capsules—a thoughtful gesture. I had lunch at the hotel once, and it was very good. Breakfasts were excellent with a great variety and everything you could need. Nothing else.

The location is perfect for a trip to Melderskin. The fjord view, newly renovated rooms, and delicious breakfast and dinner were all hits. We especially enjoyed the dining area at Baronessen.
