I’ve stayed elsewhere before and had issues, but this time the room I got had a mattress full of deep holes that made it impossible to rest, and there was only one outlet, located in the bathroom, so we could charge phones one at a time.

“Pretty but won't go back”

I’ve never had major problems in past stays, yet this hotel had many restrictions for families and me; the photos match the reality except for breakfast. I was disappointed by the strict rules and the staff – pets are allowed only in certain rooms with an exterior view, a detail the app omits, and they still charge extra for the interior pool view but refuse to let you stay there; the app also fails to mention a $1000 peso deposit for pets, and the pool/outdoor area is only open from 8a-10p. You can’t linger on the grass or chairs because security will remove you and force you back to your room. The staff were rude and unhelpful, always making excuses. After staying for about two days, a manager entered our room over key issues and flagged our toy chihuahua because we were in the “wrong” room. She left, and within an hour security knocked on our door, escorted us to the lobby as if we had done something wrong, while reception and the app had failed to inform us that those rooms weren’t pet‑friendly. There’s only one entrance/exit to the rooms, we never hid our dog, yet they accused us and refused to check cameras. A truly bad experience.

The staff member who assisted me was very attentive, but everything else was fine except the bathroom we got had a leak that caused all the water to drain into the toilet.

I liked the location, the service, and the overall ambiance – everything was very nice. The price felt a bit high, but I would come back and still recommend it.
