The Lodge Billund

Perfect for families with children, there’s an indoor playroom and an outdoor park area. Because the rooms are bunk‑type, the bed gets a bit tight when unfolded, but it’s still adequate. The breakfast was very nice. Legoland is a 5‑minute walk, and Legohouse is 15 minutes away.

“Great location and breakfast, friendly service but no restaurant on site.”

The location and breakfast were great, and the service was friendly. I was surprised that there was no on‑site restaurant, especially since the place attracts many families and is a bit outside the city centre; I would have expected more from a 4‑star hotel. I was also surprised that there was no on‑site restaurant, knowing there must be a lot of families visiting and knowing the location is away from the centre. Additionally, the breakfast area looked messy; food that fell from some guests remained untouched by any cleaning staff. The “spa” was basically just a basic pool and a lukewarm sauna.

“Bon et agréable séjour.”

The reception was warm and the room was very clean. The breakfast was extraordinary in very pretty premises. We had booked two rooms; the one assigned to our son was very comfortable and spacious. The other room we received, however, was spacious but poorly arranged. The bed was positioned so that we couldn’t sit up without bumping our heads against the ceiling; one side was against the wall, making it impossible to leave the bed without disturbing the neighbour.

“Nice location for visiting Lego House and Legoland and perfect breakfast!”

The location was good and it was easy to reach Lego House and Legoland! The breakfast was very nice. The room wasn’t really clean, and after telling the staff nothing happened for the next three days; the room stayed the same.

My son and I have just returned from a 4 night stay at The Lodge Hotel for his 18th Birthday. WOW 🥰 the hotel was amazing. from moment we walked through the doors the staff were welcoming, friendly, kind and extremely attentive. The housekeeping staff also left a lovely birthday message for my son yesterday which just made it all the more special. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the shower rooms are nice. The breakfast was delicious with a vast & varied selection from hot foods, cereals, Freshly baked breads, pastry and rolls and continental selections of cheese, fruit and veg. We Would definitely recommend this little gem of a place especially given the location is perfect for Sculpture Park, Legoland, Lego House, Lalandia (Water-park, mini golf, bowling and amenities), The Teddy Bear museum are all within walking distance. There are some lovely restaurants within Billund Centret and also some great delivery places too. lalandia across the road also has some lovely restaurants. Highly recommend.
