The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the bed was comfortable. However, the shower was clogged and the bathroom cleanliness was not up to standard.

I forgot to review earlier. Now I’m reviewing Mr Pak. Here feels like my home in Bali. Every time I come to Bali, I stay here – in the center of Kuta, close to everything you need, 10 minutes walk to the beach. It’s a quiet place. I just love it.

For a single night it was fine – hot shower, working air‑conditioning, decent bed, large pool and reasonably close to everything, but the place feels a bit past its prime and sits at the end of a dark alley.

Breakfast and Balinese coffee were nice, with a good selection of fruit, eggs on toast, and either noodles or rice, plus fresh juice. The site looks a little dated with older pictures.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the pool and outdoor area were pleasant; they resolved our issues quickly and did their best to make our stay enjoyable. The building is old and past its prime, and we had plumbing problems and a moldy wall, but that’s fair—you get what you pay for.
