The staff were super friendly and helpful, and both our room and the pub were spotless and tastefully decorated. We had supper on the night we arrived, and the food was delicious and expertly presented; breakfast was also perfect. The road noise was a bit off‑putting because we come from a small, quiet village, but I understand that others might not notice it.

The room was lovely, better than expected for a budget twin, with comfortable beds and a good size. We ate in the pub, where the food was good and the staff friendly, and overall it offered excellent value. Some road noise kept us awake at night, so I wore ear plugs.
