Arthur is a very pleasant host who made sure we arrived safely and asked if we needed anything, even about mowing or whether it would wake the child – small details but very kind. The house is lovely, cozy, clean and comfortable. The whole area is well‑maintained and clean, with two bedrooms, a large living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a terrace, a grill, a pool, a hot tub, and very cute cats. The nearest town is 15 minutes by car; all groceries can be bought there (the only thing you must bring is drinking water for cooking). We were delighted by the beautiful views and had a great rest, we’ll definitely come back.

The accommodation is large and close to the trail, and I liked that the kitchen had all the essentials: dishes, salt, oil. The view is incredible, surrounded by wild nature. The pool was supposed to be there but it was very dirty; tap water is not suitable for cooking and the nearest store that sells water is 4 km away. It would have helped if that was mentioned so we could bring enough water. The hair dryer doesn’t work. The pillows are uncomfortable and very old – if you have allergies or back problems, bring your own. There isn’t much to walk around; only a wild forest nearby, which is hard to navigate, especially for kids.

The host is very friendly and attentive, helped us before check‑in by arranging a tractor to pull us out of a ditch near the house. He answers any question instantly and solves everything. The entrance road from the village side is only accessible from the trail. The water pressure in the bathroom is weak, but that’s not a major issue.

The water flow is poor, possibly the pump was off, but everything else was fine so we didn’t worry about the water.

The house is nice, the big hot tub is great, the view is beautiful, and the host is very friendly – you can drive there confidently, but be careful with navigation; both Waze and Google give wrong directions – call and listen to directions. A rude cat and dog come to the yard, so bring extra food.
