The owner was nice and the location was great, but the air conditioning was a bit strange and loud, and I woke up with a sore throat the next day.

The owner was really lovely and super helpful, which I appreciated a lot. The room itself was decent, though the water pressure was low—probably because it’s the dry season—and the shower didn’t drain well. The bathroom was quite dark, and the pillows were too thick.

It’s a simple place that has everything you need, and it’s only a five‑minute walk to the gorgeous Nacpan Beach.

Compared to El Nido, the location feels much better; tours, scooter rentals, and the beach are all within a two‑minute walk. The room contains all the essentials for a night’s stay, and the staff’s helpfulness is genuinely warm.

This is a true Filipino experience on an untouched, stunning beach. The guesthouse is in an amazing spot, just a short stroll from the shore, and the host family is very friendly and accommodating. I loved everything and would gladly return for a few weeks next year. If you want peace and quiet in a very natural, original Filipino village, this is the place. Thanks for the great memories.
