The staff, from the concierge to the cleaners and restaurant team, treated my family and me like VIPs. However, you have to plan a bit to see the sights; there's a free shuttle to the local shopping centre, but the city is more than an hour away on foot.

We had a short family holiday here and the kids were thrilled by the pool and water slide, while we relaxed at the pool bar. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes, and the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. However, the advertised price turned out not to be the final price; they added tax on top, and I ended up paying almost SGD400 extra for my 3‑day stay. The property claimed it was “pay at property,” but they charged SGD600 from my debit card to secure the booking. At check‑in they charged me the full amount plus another SGD400, so I paid a total of SGD1000 as a refundable amount. They said it would take about 3 weeks to return the money to my bank account, so be prepared to pay an extra SGD1400 for a 2‑night stay over the advertised price. I eventually received a SGD1000 refund in about 2 weeks; if you use a credit card, the refund comes faster (2 days). This was the only thing I didn’t like, and it wasn’t mentioned in the description at booking time.

From the moment we pulled up, we were met with an exceptional welcome that carried through the entire trip, and all the little extra touches were greatly appreciated. Vince the concierge went out of his way to learn and remember our children’s names and even sent a welcome package to their room. It’s such a fun, family‑friendly hotel! The only downside was that the location is a bit farther from Universal, but that worked out well for us because it kept us away from the hustle and bustle.
