“Heavenly historical home from home.”

I love this place so much. Staff helped me with luggage to my room. It was a home from home full of history. I absolutely loved the drawing room. Very cosy in the evening with the soft lighting. Adored the decor and the bookcase adorned with very interesting books. I felt so safe and at home. So much so much so, I will return. A slight bug bear was1. The stairs. Steep and windey and not mentioned in the write up. And workmen quite loud working on the scaffolding from 6AM. Luckily I’m an early riser but not ideal

“Highly recommend great place on all counts”

The location is ideal, the staff are friendly, and the room is of high quality. The breakfast was fantastic. The cold tap was very stiff.

The building is a beautiful old structure, tastefully decorated with lovely furnishings. The staff were lovely, and being above the other rooms was great for food, which was also brilliant. Nothing to add.
