Terrace Hostel & Lounge Bar

The accommodation was ideally located right in the center of Shköder on the main street, which was very convenient. It’s a 5‑minute walk to the shuttle stops for the airport and nearby excursions. The terrace is great. The staff were really kind and very responsive. We were able to leave items we didn’t need for our hike there, and we picked them up a few days later without any trouble. The downside of the spot is the street noise, which is quite loud. The bathrooms were very dirty, making it unpleasant to shower.

The hostel was lovely and the staff were friendly, though the cleaning left something to be desired, yet the price matched the value perfectly. The location was spot‑on, only slightly disrupted by a festival happening just outside the hostel, but the overall view was spectacular and the proximity to the tour pick‑up point was essential.

The location is excellent, the facilities are very good, and the cleanliness is solid. The breakfast is tasty but simple, offering bread, cheese, eggs, and jam. However, breakfast isn’t served on time; it doesn’t start at 07:00 as advertised, which can mess up travel plans. They also don’t provide coffee at breakfast—only food. Moreover, during my stay the shared kitchen didn’t receive detergent refills and the shared bathroom sink lacked soap, which could be inconvenient.
