“Accoglienza d'altri tempi”

A few days ago we took a trip back in time… We booked a night at Albergo del Ponte on a whim and, upon stepping through the threshold, we entered a 1900s‑era setting that was warm and welcoming, run with love by a passionate owner. Francesca continues a family tradition that started in 1880 and keeps the inn in all its rooms exactly as it was in the early twentieth century, with original furnishings and finishes that fit the context and give a home‑like warmth and welcome. Highly recommended for the authenticity of the environment and the owner’s kindness.

“Soggiorno di pace”

The lady Francesca was a delight, making us feel right at home. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. The environment was quiet.

Francesca is an incredibly warm host. The breakfast was lovingly presented, featuring fresh croissants from the baker, yogurt, homemade jam, honey, fruit, and fresh coffee, followed by a pleasant English conversation. We enjoyed it! The house has been in family ownership since 1880, and Francesca has preserved all eras of the home with great sensitivity. The large, open kitchen fireplace, still used for cooking until the late 60s, the rotary dial telephone, and the 70s items are all kept in a time capsule, impeccably maintained and clean. Nothing is lacking here. The spacious bathroom has a shower. The bed is comfortable. In the evening we liked sitting on the small balcony and winding down the day. We were just passing through, stayed 3 nights, and felt very comfortable. If the road takes us back to this beautiful part of Italy, we would gladly stop by Francesca again.

I liked the authentic style. It felt like sleeping in the past.
