“Schlicht, aber sauber.”
The staff were consistently friendly, the hotel and room were very clean, though the laundry (towels, bed sheet) wasn’t spot‑free. The hotel is easy to find and walking to the center is convenient. The bed wasn’t great: the mattress gave way, I sweated in it (material‑related), the mosquito net seemed unreliable so I used my own. My room had no external window, only a window and a glass door to the courtyard and balcony. The hotel maintained quiet at night, but in the neighborhood (with many hotels in a row) loud music played continuously at night, even on weekdays.
