Located 300 metres from Szeged Train Station, Hotel Ankavi offers stylishly decorated units with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and private parking (15 EUR / vehicle / night). Each unit features a flat-screen TV, kitchen facilities, and a shared sun terrace. Grocery stores, pubs, and restaurants are within a 200-metre radius, and bicycle rental is available on site.

The place was filthy, with poor hygiene, dirty, dusty bedding, a room with a stinking smell, used toilet paper residue, and a white rug covered in crumbs that had turned black. We left the accommodation after about 20 minutes. There was no water at the property, and we were not informed about this before arrival. I attached a few photos for reference.

The room was roomy and comfortable, but two small blankets were attached and slipped off the bed quickly; aside from that everything was fine.

The equipment was in good shape, the furnishings were modern, the rooms were spacious, and the bathroom was large. The location was convenient—20 minutes on foot to the city centre, with a tram stop opposite the hotel. However, the host demanded more in Hungarian forints than the reservation price, because they quote room rates in euros and calculate with €400 instead of the daily average exchange rate of 365 Ft. Cleanliness was an issue: hair strands were found in the bed, on the toilet ceramic and on the floor. The bed linen and towel were stained.
