I loved staying at Bau’s place; she and her family were incredibly kind, listened to me, and shared many stories about her life and Sapa, making it a truly enriching experience. The room was great, with a view of the rice terraces and spotless. We enjoyed a delicious dinner together and the breakfast was perfect. Thank you!

The scenery was nice, but the hosts made a lot of noise—children shrieking and shouting, starting at 5:15 AM. By 7 AM construction next to my room began, with a shovel, pebbles, and other stuff through paper‑thin walls, which was totally unbearable. I walked away, returned after about 1.5 hours, and the shovel work was still in its early phase, so I had to leave right away.

Bau and her family went above and beyond to make our stay in Sapa the best; after midnight she cooked a warm meal, arranged daily taxis, and when our motorbike tour was cancelled last minute, she, her father, and friends stepped in to do the tour themselves. She prepared delicious food every morning and handled vegetarian needs with ease. Her home is lovely and the view is incredible. I can’t recommend it enough; it was the highlight of our trip.
