I was impressed by the luxurious feel of the hotel and the staff were very accommodating, and the rooftop pool was amazing with a gorgeous view of Bangkok. However, walking around the hotel area isn’t recommended, and driving in front of the hotel street is heavily congested.

It’s a fancy place that feels like it should cost more, so it’s really a great value. The bed was comfortable, the view was stunning, everything was clean, and the staff were friendly. The only issue was that when we arrived we thought we were in the wrong place because the name on the booking (Thonglor) didn’t match the building’s name, and the building looked different from the pictures (porch and stairs). We left, but it turns out the correct name is Shenzhen Tower and we were actually in the right place.

The hotel itself is lovely, the room was neat, breakfast was excellent, and the women at the cafeteria were friendly and attentive. I didn’t like the location; nothing is within walking distance except a Chinese restaurant attached to the hotel that doesn’t speak English, so I had trouble ordering and the food turned out terrible.
