I had an amazing time at East of Eden Guest House; it was truly fantastic. The room was ideal, with fresh eggs daily and plenty of thoughtful extras that made it feel special. I was initially doubtful about the glowing reviews, but you won’t be disappointed at all. This was my first visit to Africa, and it feels like a home away from home. Sylvia and the staff were wonderful—she’s an incredible host, kinder and more considerate than I could have imagined. She took me to the Giraffe Centre and the museum, but the highlight was the trip to her avocado farm. My favorite moment was sitting under an avocado tree, eating the most delicious mango I’ve ever tasted. If you want a warm, genuine stay in Nairobi with exceptional hospitality and those little touches that matter, East of Eden is the spot. Sylvia makes it unforgettable.
