The owner was pleasant and accommodating, and the rooms with bathrooms were clean. However, there was no kitchen or eating area for the food I brought; only a room with a fridge and a kettle. The rest of the space was a storage of chairs. A kettle, a jug of water, and two small tables with chairs would have sufficed.

The host was very helpful and welcoming, and the place was overall clean. The price, however, didn’t match the category of accommodation; even though we were off‑season, we expected a fair rate. We could buy a semi‑prepared meal kit for a pot of hot water, and the drink selection was also very limited. We liked it, but compared to other places we stayed at on our six‑day trip, the price should have been at most half.

This place has a no-frills feel to it, but the staff more than makes up for it with their warm hospitality. That being said, I did find it a bit inconvenient that there aren't any food options nearby, so it's best to stock up before arriving.

If you're not looking for luxury and just need a comfortable base for exploring the White Carpathians, this hotel fits the bill nicely. The village itself is very quiet, which might be a bit too peaceful for some - I had to travel a bit further to Strání or Uherský Brod to find some shopping options.
