They scammed us: the first night we were given a basement room with no ventilation, just a fake small window, full of mold and not matching our reservation. The rest of the stay we were promised a third‑floor room but received a noisy first‑floor one. Cleaning happened only once during our nine‑night stay, which was terrible. On departure, the same problem occurred with a French family, a couple with two kids. They do this to everyone.

I was disappointed with Invictum Residence because the room booking went wrong on day one, and on day two they moved me to a room that was much smaller than the pictures showed. I had specifically asked for a kitchen, but the induction stove was barely working and I had to wait almost 30 minutes before I could use it, which made the whole idea of having cooking facilities pointless. On the bright side, Taksim square is very close.

The staff were accommodating and flexible, but the single rooms were only 12 m² including the bathroom, while the double rooms were better, featuring a corner with a stove and kitchen utensils.

It’s a pleasant place, set in a good area for moving around the city. We rented two rooms, but the kitchen in one of them didn’t work.
