Great location, traditional, small quarters that I enjoy. Spiders and cockroaches, barely any staff, being woken at 9 am by cleaners preparing the next room, and having to walk down narrow stairs at night to use the restroom.

The time spent at Mondo was exceptional. The historic building felt very comfortable, and the interior atmosphere made it feel like living in a Japanese old‑house, which was fun. The kitchen was easy to use, the equipment was clean and comfortable. The staff were very kind and carefully guided us with local information. I truly think it’s a wonderful inn.

There's a kitchen and AC. The bathroom is only downstairs. They close the kitchen and bathroom area from 11 am to 2 pm and tell you to go to the convenience store to use the bathroom. There was early construction. They don’t have bicycles to rent out.

I could relax fully because there were no other guests in my room.

The house feels very charming and, despite its age, it’s still very clean, though I wish there were more natural light.
