The food was great, the bed comfortable and the bathroom spacious, staff were friendly. The hot water wasn’t warm enough, and the noise from other rooms was a little too much.

Located in a quiet area, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was fantastic. We had a problem with hot water.

The hotel’s location is perfect and very convenient. I had a very disappointing experience during my stay. The blanket provided was dirty and not cleaned properly; it had visible blood stains. I informed the room boy, and he changed it, but unfortunately the second blanket also had similar blood stains. Additionally, there was no hot water available. As it was a rainy day, hot water was essential. I believe the hotel uses a solar hot water system, which may not have worked due to the weather. I requested the hotel staff to switch on the electric heater, but they kept saying that the hot water was working properly, even though it was not. Overall, cleanliness and basic facilities were not satisfactory. I hope the management will take this seriously and improve their standards.

The room was large, with a nice modern look, and felt clean. The bed was large and comfortable. Room #5 had private access to a huge roof terrace which was a lovely place to look out over the green surroundings and across to town. The location was very quiet which was lovely. Good food at the beautiful outdoor restaurant. The shower was only intermittently hot. Many menu options were not available and the included breakfast was quite sparse – they did not accommodate our advance request for a vegan breakfast so it was only white bread with jam.

Homies Place Bistro – Bandarawela was a wonderful stay. The room was very clean, hot water was available, and the balcony view was amazing. The location is very convenient, close to Bandarawela and Badulla road. Staff were very decent, friendly, and never annoying. We stayed in Room Five and had an excellent experience. Highly recommended!
