The staff were extremely friendly, and although they gave us the correct room types at check‑in, the two rooms were far apart—which wasn’t ideal with two young teens we wanted close to us—but they explained that the first night couldn’t be changed, while the second night could and they moved the kids next to us and even opened the connecting door the next day; the large pool had plenty of loungers and towels were available there, beds were made daily and rooms were cleaned when we returned the key, the location was perfect—far enough from the busy streets yet quick to reach, and you can use the back entrance, which is great; breakfast was served at the neighboring hotel and offered a good variety. We were handed two little envelopes full of receipts on arrival—two for a welcome drink at the pool, four for towel rentals, and two each morning for breakfast—which felt overly complicated, and the towel receipts had to be returned at checkout or you had to pay for the towels.
