The property was irresponsible: we booked, they never confirmed our stay, and at the last minute told us to cancel.

It felt like home in a very peaceful setting; the room was exceptionally clean and lively, the washroom had a fan, and the vintage style of the room was perfect for a peaceful vibe; the staff were very friendly and polite, making me feel at home.

We just checked out this morning and already miss the family and their cozy, beautiful house. Staying there felt like being with our own relatives; the owners were gentle, positive, and genuinely welcoming. Mani, the father, listened to our itinerary plans and helped arrange trips, while his wife cooked delicious South Indian dishes and brewed cumin‑ginger tea for a headache. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. Our three‑week vacation in Tamil Nadu and Kerala couldn’t compare to the serene evenings spent with them, sipping tea and chatting about our countries, lives, Tamil Nadu, or the temple festival. Mani invited us to the festival, showed us around, and let us join the event by meeting attendees and sharing dinner. The house itself is beautiful and cozy, decorated with a hippy‑Chettinad mix. Everything we needed—warm water, a fan, safety, good sleep—was available. We loved simply sitting and enjoying the peaceful nature sounds in the evenings. The location is convenient, close to places where we could experience Chettinad culture and admire famous mansions like Karaikudi, Kandanur, Athangudi, and Kanadukathan, all visited during our three‑day stay. If you want to step back and clear your mind from city bustle, stay at this homestay.

The family was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The house is beautifully decorated with attention to detail, warm and lovely, not quite Indian style. It sits quietly in a green setting yet is only 5 km from Karaikudi’s center. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean, with everything we needed. Breakfast and dinner were tasty and lovingly prepared. We felt like home, not a hotel number, and decided quickly to stay an extra night. Highly recommended!
