The location was convenient and the rooms were comfortable and spacious. The communal bathroom was a downside.

The communal fridges were dirty and smelly. The carpet—especially under the beds—was dirty and had both live and dead bugs. One of the toilets had no lock. The annoying third‑party online check‑in system asked for your data and a picture of your ID but offered little GDPR assurance.

The place is great because of its location, but the host kept ignoring me and only gave me the codes after I made several calls. I asked a few other questions and he never answered them. The bed was worse than any hostel I've stayed in, and the kitchen—especially the fridge—was nasty.

We arrived late but the owners still welcomed us. However, staying at Struy Guest House was terrible: the furniture was broken, the room was dusty, and the owners and some other guests were fighting, screaming, and shouting all night, so we couldn't sleep at all. I was not happy with the stay.
