The Rayland Motel in Manukau City offers spacious studios and family units, each with kitchen facilities and en-suite bathrooms. Family apartments feature a split-level layout with separate living areas. The motel provides free WiFi, parking, and is within walking distance to restaurants and a cinema. Conveniently located near Auckland International Airport and a 15-minute drive from Auckland city centre.

The accommodation was tidy, and there were no issues.

The place offered plenty of parking and was close to the shopping mall, Rainbow’s End, and the motorway, but there was a strong musky odor throughout the unit and the ranch slider had to stay open all afternoon. The interior felt plain, like something from the 70‑80s era, and it looked sleazy, so I will never return.

The service was professional and the stay felt very homely and comfortable, a perfect 10/10. There were no problems during the 20 years our family has stayed here; it was once called Hunters Inn and is now known as Raylands.
