“Did not stay”
I booked a place that was supposedly reserved only for me, but another guest was also listed. When I arrived after a two‑hour drive, I was told I couldn’t stay there. They offered an alternative in a basement elsewhere. That spot was cramped with only one bed, and they promised to set up another while we went out. When we came back, the “new” bed was just a couple of blankets and pillows on the floor. The toilet still had pee in it, the shower was full of hair, the place hadn’t been cleaned, and bugs swarmed the carpets—absolutely disgusting. We left and paid for a hotel that cost twice what we’d paid for the unit. The lady who rented it wouldn’t refund both nights, only one. As an Airbnb cleaner who’s supervised many places, this was the worst I’ve ever seen.
