Lobby food and beverages were nice, and the hot tub was enjoyable, yet I had to clean bugs and leaves from it.

The property is far from Yellowstone National Park, but if you want a more remote experience it’s a nice place and town to visit and enjoy other activities.

The hotel was within walking distance of the small town down BigSky, yet I booked during a special event weekend and the room cost $669 US per night—far too high for what I received. The room was very basic and the beds felt as hard as the floor. The cleaning team tried once during my 4‑day stay to clean the room around 4 pm, right when I came back after being out all day. The bathroom has a shower‑bath so small that you have to touch the shower curtain. Breakfast options were non‑existent—just a premade burrito, nothing else. The hotel sits in a parking area surrounded by other parking lots, and you can hear people yelling; our room’s window faced the bar next to the hotel, so we could hear party people screaming most nights—they hang out right in the parking lot, and it was funny to bend the license plate of our rental. Overall, this is acceptable if you pay no more than $200 / night, but there’s no way it can justify the amount we paid; even if the pope was downtown, it has the worst amenities for the price I’ve ever seen—extra basic.

The location and friendly staff were positives, but the gym was not really as advertised.
