The spot is amazing, and the staff are really friendly. But it’s not great for people with mobility issues – the whole village is full of ups and downs, and the hotel’s entrance has pretty steep stairs. A few mosquito nets on the windows would also help.

The views are fantastic, and we saw a ton of birds right from our room. Hot water was a relief. The downside? It’s a long walk from the parking lot over a steep mountain path, which is a pain with luggage or at night. The bed felt like a wooden plank – super hard.
