The bed was comfy, the room was roomy, and the shower was hot. The solar power only worked during the day, so I couldn’t get the gas heater to run, and the place is far from the city center; tour companies don’t pick you up there.

Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the bed let us rest well; overall the accommodation had everything needed for a pleasant stay. We had a gas stove to keep the room warm, which was a bonus during winter in San Pedro de Atacama when temperatures drop at night. The hosts were excellent—always friendly, attentive, and ready to solve any query or need. Check‑in and check‑out were quick and easy. The location is quiet and a bit away from San Pedro de Atacama’s center, so it’s a good option for travelers in a car who want to escape the noise; from there it’s easy to reach the various tourist attractions. The only issue was that during our stay there were occasional water and electricity outages at night that lasted into the next morning. We understood this was due to the solar panels and the winter temperatures that can freeze the pipes; we kept water in jugs to use in the bathroom when needed, so it didn’t significantly affect our experience. A point for improvement is the common area where the kitchen is; it was somewhat deteriorated for a shared guest space, so more frequent maintenance and cleaning would make the experience even better.
