Landgasthaus & Hotel zur Krone

There was an enormous selection at the breakfast buffet, and the location was ideal as a base for various hikes. The room: huge! The bathroom was also impressive.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and the manager was nice. Service was flawless and the food, especially breakfast, was excellent, though the restaurant prices were a bit high. Rooms were clean and decent but average in size and equipment. I’d gladly return. Our only gripe could have been addressed earlier: we edit photos in the room, but there was only a small table with one chair. A larger table and better setup would have been nice.

New, comfortable rooms and friendly staff exceeded our expectations. The hotel is on the main road; at 4 am we had to close the windows because of the noise.

The staff were friendly! Relaxing in the garden on the lounge chairs after local activities, helped by the weather, was a bonus. Breakfast and dinner were superb, and the open space where dinner was served was special. The walking paths and a charming town just across the border made those days a success for us! Our bathroom was a bit small.
