The welcome and the host’s advice were excellent, and the setting was calm and peaceful.

The old village where the apartment is located is nice, but the basic furnishings, the breakfast made from store‑bought items not prepared on site, and the two rooms on different levels—one with a separate bath accessed outdoors—are disappointing.

After a car mishap on the way from Lyon, I let the host know I’d be a bit late, and he was understanding (which isn’t always the case); I was warmly welcomed despite the delay, and he even tried to speak a bit of French. I enjoyed the stay, and I highly recommend this charming place with its wooden décor that feels like a mountain chalet and staff with great values.
The host was friendly and incredibly helpful; we arrived at ten at night and left the next morning, and he didn’t even flinch, arriving on time as promised.
