“Well worth a visit”
The staff were welcoming, the food was delicious, and I loved the older building; being just a minute from the train station was ideal. Nothing negative.

The atmosphere was good, the staff brilliant, friendly, and very helpful; I’ve stayed in lovely rooms there twice, and the food is excellent. Nearby, there are two restaurants, the Entwisle & Wayho, to stroll around, and the area is such a peaceful place to chill out. Nothing to dislike.

Excellent Full English Breakfast. Very attentive and Friendly Staff. Dog friendly. Great selection of Beers and spirits especially Gin. Good location for walks, close to Rail Station. Plenty of outdoor seating. Weekly offers on food and drinks. Vegan and Gluten free options menu available

The team at The Strawbury Duck were very welcoming, the food was excellent, and the location by the reservoir was unique, though it sits down a bumpy lane. The Duck Room was comfortable enough, but there are signs that it is getting a little tired.
“Enjoyable stay with a friendly atmosphere”
The location was great, out the way with nice scenery, and the hosts friendly. I had to leave early the next day, so the hosts made me a lovely packed lunch that I really appreciated; unfortunately I couldn’t make breakfast, which was a shame because my evening meal was really nice. All good.
