The location was great, right in the center of the Old Harbor. We booked a “Classic” double, which turned out to be a standard room with a view of a ventilation shaft in the courtyard – something I didn’t expect. The room was pitch black, the ventilation made a constant whirring noise all night, and there was no sign of the Grand Hotel. The building feels old, the breakfast buffet was okay but nothing special, and at €28 it was pricey. We were mostly upset about the dark, view‑less room.
