Finding a hotel in NYC that could comfortably fit a family of five was tough, but Sonesta turned out to be a solid pick! The room came with two queen beds and a sofa bed, so we all had plenty of room. The kitchen was a lifesaver when traveling with little ones, making breakfasts and snacks a breeze. All in all, a great choice for families visiting New York City!

The place was in the middle of everything we needed and the rooms felt like apartments. However, there was street construction that nobody mentioned, and a nightly fee for marked-up waters and snacks that seemed unnecessary or at least made the cost less reasonable.

The hotel’s location was excellent, letting me hop on the train to anywhere quickly. I loved how roomy the room was—way bigger than I expected, which was phenomenal. Unfortunately, construction started the day after I arrived, creating a lot of noise and dust; they tried to keep the floors clean, but it was inevitable to have some.
