The B&B hosts, Laura and Ron, are truly exceptional. They pride themselves on the property, restoring it flawlessly to an authentic 19th‑century vibe while still offering every modern convenience you could wish for. Laura’s breakfasts are simply amazing, giving you the energy you need for a day of exploring Gettysburg.

Everything was fantastic. My oldest son is a Gettysburg graduate, and over twenty years ago we stayed at a nice B&B in the area that has since changed ownership, so I chose to try a new one nearby. The Langdon Hill House is a ten‑minute walk from the Dobbin House and just ten minutes from many shops, a difference that feels like night and day; I can’t recommend it enough. Laura and Ron are charming hosts devoted to presenting a beautifully restored home that took 2.5 years to complete, complete with period and antique furniture and countless artifacts that make the place a history lesson in itself. They are gracious, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The rooms feature antique furnishings and a modern bathroom in each. Breakfasts surpassed the usual fare, served fresh and hot by Laura, who dresses appropriately for the 1860s era. This B&B, owned and run by two passionate individuals, will be our stop as we split our drive to and from Syracuse from our North Carolina home. It’s the perfect spot for a good night’s sleep, excellent food, and the hospitality of two great hosts while soaking in history.

Laura and Ron are wonderful, accommodating hosts. The love, sweat, and tears they poured into restoring this historic house show in every inch of the amazing property. Each breakfast was absolutely delicious, the best we’ve ever had! Most importantly, we felt like we were returning home after every outing. We loved our stay at the Langdon Hill House!

Breakfast was great and very homemade, with plenty to enjoy. The home’s history is displayed interestingly, along with artifacts and period furnishings. The hosts are helpful and knowledgeable about the area, and the couple is wonderful. No complaints.
