The hot springs were great! However, there was no air conditioning, which isn’t needed at night, and the place wasn’t very clean. The bathroom had no equipment at all.

I stayed in a cozy bungalow that offered plenty of privacy, and the pool was both beautiful and tranquil. Everyone was friendly, and I could choose between eating breakfast in the restaurant or on my own terrace. We also enjoyed a lovely view, and everything was very clean.

The hot springs were nice, and my cabin even had a private one. The owner was friendly, drove me around, and helped me get to the next spot. I skipped the Batur hike because of the crowds and guide requirement, so I hiked Abang instead, which is higher and offers a fantastic view of Batur, Agung, and the whole caldera. No guide is needed and I didn’t see another foreigner on that trail. The sliding door was a bit hard to close, but that wasn’t a big issue.

The place is super beautiful and very quiet. The natural hot water pools are a real plus. The cabins are simple but very clean. It’s calm and right on the trekking trail to Mount Batur. The breakfast is great!

The welcome, the staff’s availability and advice, the two hot water pools that feel amazing after trekking, the large rooms, the comfortable beds (one was much better than the other), the Wi‑Fi, and the location close to the start of Mount Batur and restaurants were all positive. The room was cold, but we could get a second blanket; there was no soap and a broken tap, though there was a towel rack. Breakfast was very light, but the banana fries were too good.
