The spot is great—prime location and good value. The staff really stand out: friendly, helpful, and always ready to pitch in. But the place needs some work: the bathrooms are in need of a facelift, the sheets were stained and feel rough, and the room gets chilly in winter because the heater only kicks on at night.

The lodge’s location in a quiet vineyard area is fantastic, and the breakfast is tasty with a glass‑wall view of the vines. The front‑desk lady was excellent, serving us daily. Still, the first night we had no hot water because the boiler was off, and the rooms were cold—radiators were either broken or too weak, and the air‑conditioners were the only heat source. The common areas used wood stoves that produced a lot of smoke.
