The setting is beautiful; the surroundings are absolutely amazing. The staff are lovely, friendly, and very helpful. The menu is almost exclusively Mexican…?!!…and the accompanying music… a pity for Bali, between jungle and rice fields, one would expect something else to match the vibe. The restaurant closes at 20:00; that’s really strange, and it’s nearly impossible to stay on the terrace after the meal. The pool is accessible at your own risk in the middle of the jungle after several minutes on a slippery, obstacle‑laden path, with abandoned surroundings… (wooden loungers collapsed on the ground, part of the floor is also collapsed). Really beautiful creatures: leeches, spiders, huge geckos, rodents, frogs; all in an open‑to‑four‑winds area. When it rains or is wet, expect to slip several times between the room and the restaurant area, which isn’t even close… extremely dangerous! Too rustic and dangerous for my taste: a pity because the setting is amazing and the staff are kind (though not very fluent in English).
