“The stables”
The stables were very comfortable and clean, with plenty of hot water and a cozy, warm atmosphere. The welcome pack included biscuits, tea, and coffee, and there was plenty of information about local attractions. The bed was very comfortable. However, the kitchen could have been better equipped: the cooking knives were dull and there was only one cooking tray. The dividing door between the stables and the next cottage also needed soundproofing, as we could clearly hear conversations in the next room.
“Lovely, clean, comfortable”
Judith, the host, was incredibly welcoming and helpful when we needed assistance. The property is well maintained and the interior is very comfortable, making it a lovely place to stay and explore. We appreciated the relative remoteness as a family, yet still had ample amenities within easy reach. Thank you for a wonderful three days!

“Beautiful quiet location in the countryside, all amenities you need, great shower and comfy beds!”
The location is lovely and quiet, the beds were very comfortable, and the shower was amazing. The cottage had everything needed for self‑catering, plus a washing machine as a bonus. Our cottage also had a door to the back garden. There is a nice BBQ area with tables that is covered, so rain isn’t an issue; I often had my morning tea or coffee out there. The instructions for accessing the cottage were clear. There was nothing we didn’t like!
“Wonderful place, will be back”
Everything was perfect! The location is great, close to beaches and other attractions. There’s a BBQ area (we brought our own charcoal but a gas BBQ is also available), a large play area for football, and garden games. Plenty of outdoor seating and dining space. The cottage is spacious, well equipped, clean, comfortable, with a nice temperature and very comfy beds. Signs made it easy to find. The hosts were friendly and helpful, on site and checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. It’s ideal for groups of friends, as there are four cottages. The only downside was that we had to go home.
