The place is unique, atmospheric, and away from crowds, set in an old stone house with tasteful décor. We liked the spacious interior, blending rustic agrotourism with modern comforts. The property has 3 rooms (one of which is a transitional room) and each contains a large double bed, 3 bathrooms (one accessible), 2 dining areas (each table seats about 10 people, one covered outside and one in the living room), and 2 kitchens (one tiny with an induction hob, dishwasher, and sink, the other old‑style with a kettle, coffee machine, and dishes). Almost every room has air conditioning. Bathrooms are stocked with toilet paper and basic toiletries. The host also offers bike rentals. The location is far from the noise, which can be both a plus and a minus. We intended to use it as a base for exploring northern Italy, but we must be aware that major cities (Milan, Turin, Genoa) are about 1–1.5 hours away via toll highways or much longer on free roads. Our hearts were captured by smaller towns like Ovada, Camogli, Recco, and Laveno. Although we were satisfied overall, there were a few minor drawbacks: the mattresses in two beds were only moderately comfortable, one transitional room lacked air conditioning, and the number of wardrobes or chests in the rooms was insufficient for us. One room had a chest, another had a portable, fabric wardrobe, and the third transitional room had neither a wardrobe nor a chest. There was also a large old wardrobe in the hallway that we did not use.

The house is beautifully maintained, modern, and fully equipped; the owners are very friendly, helpful, and speak excellent English, with no issues.

We stayed at the villas over the weekend as a group of friends and had an amazing experience. We rented both villas — one modern and one traditional style — and both were clean, well‑maintained, and equipped with everything we needed. The host was extremely responsive, friendly, and accommodating. He even allowed us an early check‑in and late check‑out, which made our stay even more comfortable. The location is beautiful — calm, secluded, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. It’s also a lovely area for walks and to just enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Whether you’re planning a trip with friends or looking for a quiet retreat, this place is perfect. We would definitely come back!
