“Very welcoming and comfortable in a lovely village”

Breakfast was a self‑serve style with plenty of options, which suited us since we left early. The room was clean and well presented, though it could use more storage – not a problem for a short stay. We used the breakfast room in the evening to prepare for the next day. Parking was off‑road and secure. Finding food in Cawood on Friday night was impossible, but the Castle Inn had a great community vibe and excellent beer; hopefully a chef will join soon. We felt well looked after, welcomed, and would stay at Maypole Farm again if we visit the area.

Everything was spot on—I booked at the last minute and Maggie made sure I had everything I needed. The location was quiet and convenient, my room was comfy, and every facility was top‑class.

“Not the best place I’ve stayed in left a day earlier than I should of no proper chair to rel”

The spot is great, but the single room felt cramped—shower was the smallest I've seen, and the bin hadn't been emptied from the previous guest. The kettle inside was awful; I had to request a replacement and a clean bag for the bin. In the breakfast room, the window sill was dirty and there was no space for a proper chair to relax.

“Lovely comfortable two night stay, very welcoming host and staff”

The location is excellent, and both the host and staff were friendly. There was nothing to dislike.
